Born in 1964 in Casablanca, Morocco to an aristocratic family, has moved to Los Angeles in 2010 after living in Milan, Paris, London, Cape Town and Dubai. Wahb’s journey in the Fashion world started in Milan where he attended the Marangoni Fashion Institute graduating as a fashion designer in 1987, in the same year, he was scouted and asked to model for the big names of fashion marking the start of his highly successful modeling career. Wahb was head hunted by top designers such as Jean Paul Gaulthier, Issey Miyake, Yoji Yamamoto, Dolce&Gabbana, Romeo Gilgli and many others. He has been the personal fitting model for Romeo Gigli, Jean Paul Gaulthier and Dolce&Gabbana, the latter since the inception of their mens brand, and later became their in house photographer for over 8 years.
Working with the top photographers, Wahb perfected his talent for directing and photography, he then decided to move behind the camera full time.
As a photographer, Wahb reached a celebrity status after he has worked for many years with top fashion griffes, like Dolce&Gabbana, Gianfranco Ferre, Alberta Ferretti and many other big names. He has also shot for many of the world’s major fashion magazines, shooting covers and editorials for the likes of Vogue Italy, Marie Claire, Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Sports Illustrated swimwear edition, GQ, Esquire, Maxim, FHM, to name but a few.
Wahb moved to the US in 2010, making Los Angeles his new home and new operational base for his photography, film productions and for his Wahb Couture clothing label, starting with the launch of his Wahb Beach Couture line in 2016.
Wahb has come full circle and gone back to his less well-known roots as an immensely skilled and adept fashion designer, Wahb beach Couture is a label of expertly cut and fitting swimwear, that will be the hottest sought-after pieces.
